nballa Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 congos srilanka the tiny island whose resources r negligible compared to other three asian giants congos srilanka? as in sri lanka is in the congo? i agree the resources are negligible. i mean the paucity of good looking females must be taking a toll on the economy.
Midfielder Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 congos srilanka the tiny island whose resources r negligible compared to other three asian giants .first the asia cup teaching pakistanis a lesson or two and then the big one defeating the biggest chest thumper of the world.just lov u guys.compared to resources we hav and population we hav and the difficulties with which our players hav grown i am really proud to say that on current form u guys r the best limited overs side in the world by a marginB->B->B->B->.really proud of u guys .keep it on.really really proud today. You did great but to thump your chest and say you are the best please give me a break.
TheWall Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 well done in T20s with murali gone.. ur test side is in dumps and woith lady jaya n sanga gone.. u will rot in limited overs also...
jf1gp_1 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Oh boy one fluke win thanks to spent oldies and islanders are jumping up and down. Giving close flight to Pak fans in self hyping a team which won thanks to rain and a rare off day by opposition.
veer Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 congrates Lanka!! Happy for Malinga, Kula, Mathews, Heranga, thirmannie etc.. new crop of Lankan players are good.
HyroProto Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 well done in T20s with murali gone.. ur test side is in dumps and woith lady jaya n sanga gone.. u will rot in limited overs also... OUR test side is in dumps ? Really ? after getting white washed in almost every test series u played recently outside your country ? :haha: JAya/Sanga only retired from T20s..they r still their for the ODIs till next World cup..And since its in Aus..Ind will not be going as favourites in that tourney as well
FischerTal Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 ]OUR test side is in dumps ? Really ? after getting white washed in almost every test series u played recently outside your country ? :haha: JAya/Sanga only retired from T20s..they r still their for the ODIs till next World cup..And since its in Aus..Ind will not be going as favourites in that tourney as well winning tests in Bangladesh is the only significant achievement SL have made in the format for the past couple of years :hatsoff:
HyroProto Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Better than that chucker Senanayake and whinger Sangakkara. true..but both contributed in SL winning the cup... Nuff said :nice:
HyroProto Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 The real question is that once Sanga and Jaya retire' date=' will you guys be able to find replacements for them?[/quote'] Not right away.. but will get there eventually.. Like u guys..did u find instant replacements for Laxman, Dravid, Tendulka, Gambir, Shewag & Saheer ? U Got 2 quality players in Kohli & Pujara.. but Rahne, Rohith & Dawan r way to inconsistent & a far cry compared to those greats isnt it ? But your new guys will settle down eventually Likewise SL will struggle for a while until the newbies get settled & after that will be fine as always..
HyroProto Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 winning tests in Bangladesh is the only significant achievement SL have made in the format for the past couple of years :hatsoff: We played like only a couple of test series out side SL for the last couple of years I think..But if you compare our last series in Eng, NZ & SA to yours..Think we have done a bit better than u guys Also in the recent PAK series..We only did badly in the last session of the final test.. In all the other test matches we did brilliantly (drew the first test coming from behind & won the 2nd test handsomely) Mathews had a brain fart in the last session of third test & went ultra negative & caused us to draw the series where we coiuld've won it..but that match made him a better captain.. he became more aggressive after that lost..so for SL..it was a blessing is disguise tho
TheWall Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 winning tests in Bangladesh is the only significant achievement SL have made in the format for the past couple of years :hatsoff: ... and their WCs have come only on subcontinent...
great siri Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Oh boy one fluke win thanks to spent oldies and islanders are jumping up and down. Giving close flight to Pak fans in self hyping a team which won thanks to rain and a rare off day by opposition. lol the best batting line up in the world can only manage 19 from last 4 overs and (mind u last 2 overs were fully faced by dhoni and kohli) n u expect west indies to chase 81 from last 6 overs lol.thanks to rain we had a fluke win?????really ???truth is india can never win a single game batting first so in one sense all of india,s wins were flukes
great siri Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Things are balancing out on the result based on the last 3 games? One can only feel pity thinking about the state of your team after your only 2 decent bats retire. Things are only going to get worse for you when you face us in the future. After the retirement of our legendary bats, the new lot to follow are; Kohli, Pujara, Rahane, Rohit, Jadhav, Zol, Samson, to name a few, compare them to the likes of Kusal, Thirumanne and Chandimal. Bowling will eventually even out in the future. Point is, things will not balance out, but would only get worse in the years to come. Hopefully you find the ideal replacements. But Chandimal, Thirumanne are not the replacement for those 2. we hav many talented youngsters like thirimaanne and chandimal who hav scored 50s in debut in australia.the truth is india will struggle real hard once dhoni retires after 2015.dare to think who u hav beyond kohli ???????/no body.absolutely no body.we saw calibre of dinesh kartik, rayadu, rahaane ,djhawan in asia cup.
SLICKR392 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 LOL! Sirichu, you parrot's got a more developed brain than you. Remind us what the likes of Chandimal and Thirumanne did in the Asia Cup? Both these noobs sucked in the Champions Trophy and the WI tri series. Dinesh Karthik isn't considered by us as a future 'youngster'. Probably he might be in Sri Lanka, since that's the standard set by your home track bully, so called 'legends'.
TheWall Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 After Lady Jaya and Sanga don't see any worthy batsmen from SL

great siri Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 sl have better away tours than india last 5 -6 years.we gave a lot of fight to australia in 2012 cb series and we beat them 3 games out of 5 games.last time we toured australia we drew the odi series 2-2 .we drew the odi series in nz last time we tour there.we lost odi series in eng 3-2 and not 4-0 like india.we won a test last time we went to saf.ind has a miserable away tour under dhoni.

Since you have nothing to show i suggest you not even try such indirect nonsense. You have a fluke win hang on to it and keep talking about it for next two decades.
