Stuge Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 If there are standards ,then surely IPL7 Hindi commentary does below par in my opinon. Sidhu :Over the top with his cliche stuff now .Trying to be too out of box . Arun Lal :As usual boring ,Though he has good knowledge of Bees ,Kites, Eagles etc Chetan :Better I don't say anything New entrant Akhtar :He tries his best to deliver commentary in URDU. Ajay Jadeja : His Recent Comment on UV and Kohli : "Eek joor see mar rahe hain...tu ekk hoolee holee maar rahe hian"-comment on UV and Kohli
Debutant Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I switch to Hindi commentary when Harsa starts his motormouth. Yesterday Actor was commentating when Dhawal Kulkarni was bowling. Till yesterday whenever I try to bawl out swingers I try to get as close as possible to the stumps in the hope that if I pitch the ball in middle and off, it will swing more and get the edge. On the contrary Actor said that while bowling out swingers we should go wide of the crease so that it will look like coming in to the batsman but will leave him and the swing will be late which will create more problem for the batsmen. Tim Southee was trying to exactly that. This is some really great insight on fast bowling Will try this out swinger with a wide angle myself
rahulrulezz Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 lol Akhtar is full of himself while giving commentary..Says 'me' 'I' too many times... Talks as if he is Lille, Thompson, Wasim or McGrath.. Also isn't it supposed to be Hindi commentary.. He used some highly sophisticated persian/urdu words which went above my head

Desi Cartman Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I wish willow had hindi commentary, since T20 isnt interesting so maybe the commentary would make me actually watch the game.
Old guy Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 lol Akhtar is full of himself while giving commentary..Says 'me' 'I' too many times... Talks as if he is Lille' date=' Thompson, Wasim or McGrath.. Also isn't it supposed to be Hindi commentary.. He used some highly sophisticated persian/urdu words which went above my head[/quote'] He might not be as good as people you named but he does knows how to bowl and set up people you can even tell he knows who has skill and who has not...his problem is he is very over the top and little bit too self entered but that is normal in pak media :cantstop:
rkt.india Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 You so t be able to move the ball at all only freaks can move ball away from that angle and southee is one of he most skillful swing bowler in the world .. You do not need to be freak, a good seam and wrist position and helpful conditions.

At least you get to know something new about cricket. What does motormouth like Harsha has to offer other than "I wonder" , "On another day", last year how much each players farted" and all the useless crap

tweaker Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Akash Chopra is a good Hindi commentator, but I think he is with Star
rkt.india Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Akash Chopra is a good Hindi commentator' date='but I think he is with Star[/quote'] He is in England with ITV

What does motormouth like Harsha has to offer other than "I wonder" ' date=' "On another day", last year how much each players farted" and all the useless crap[/quote'] Watch test cricket...not trolling but watch neutral matches there are whole sessions where they will discuss what bowlers are doing Indian commentators just state the obvious specially people like harsh a and I usually mute all matches and follow matches on icf :--D
Old guy Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 You do not need to be freak' date=' a good seam and wrist position and helpful conditions.[/quote'] From that angle it's very hard to move the ball if you move one you will throw next one down the leg side I have tried that :cantstop:

Even are ODIs are :asleep: There are some encounters which are watchable in tests like Styne and Phillander bowling in the morning session of the first day in SA. But watching full days is too boring. Only IPL :beee:
Old guy Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Oh please. Even are ODIs are :asleep: There are some encounters which are watchable in tests like Styne and Phillander bowling in the morning session of the first day in SA. But watching full days is too boring. Only IPL :beee: That's ur taste and I am no body to tell you that you are doing something wrong but I am just talking about commentary and technicalities of game they discuss instead of just hyping some one talented or in being in awe of past legends Matches Johnson would not have gotten half the hype he did if it was not for commentators they were just brilliant and for every big occasion you heard excitement in voice and got perspective during ashes you felt pain of England :--D And not one guy saying on another day he would have gotten smashed for six instead of getting 7 wicket haul and breaking all the flow and hype of moment ... These jokers are seen discussing wildlife and some times discussing each other and you never hear any criticism ,,what is commentary without criticism or atleast opinion about how one is sucking badly..why not dog into gambhir bit more? He freaking got out for 3 ducks and almost 4 we had 100 times more hype for agarkar remember commentators cheering him one every time he came out to at at and literally laughing their ass off :hysterical:
Stuge Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 NSS on fire .. jab josh hi nahin hai lala .. tu kis baat ki yeh jawani :hysterical:
