I am sure baseball players would have taken that catch with eyes closed one leg tied and one hand tied.
I am not sure you have seen much baseball. Fielding in baseball is a zillion times better than cricket in general, with or without gloves. Every fielding error is recorded against the fielder with official stats being tracked for that. Yes catching is done with the help of gloves, however they expected to take super special catches routinely there given that they use gloves. Also ground fielding is typically done bare handed where they need to be extra quick to get the ball around a few extra bases to get double plays (and sometimes triple plays). Yes fielding in cricket has gotten better of late, however in baseball fielding has always been top priority cause any miscues result in runs which are rare. That is because they don't have to worry about touching the rope, You can climb on to pads and take catches. In Cricket with bare hands you not only have to make judgement but also have great presence of mind. The list you have put here is no match for greatest cricketing catches.

You can't have even a single liability cause then batters can target that one fielder and score winning runs.

Just saw the video. Excellent catch and it could be one of the best of this IPL but then i have seen better than this before in other formats.

Virat imo is not an exceptional fielder. I remember him dropping at least 5 catches in slips when England toured India in 2013 for 5 test series. He is not a complete fielder as he has a high error rate in crucial fielding positions. By experience he will learn how to field in slips, but at this point of time, he is below average in slips.

it will not be a great catch simply because he has to the acrobatics to recover from his slip.. if he had been standing up, it was a simple catch. Full marks for presence of mind
