Mr. Wicket Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 dude' date=' 4 and 5 days is out of question.[/quote'] Actually, the Gabba regularly sees rain this time of year. Hope Australia's next great opening combo steps up here.
DesiChap Posted November 7, 2007 Author Posted November 7, 2007 9:33 local, 23:33 GMT A bit of bad news - there's been some overnight rain in Brisbane, the trusted Jenny Thompson informs me. The covers are coming off, although an on-time start is unlikely. There's still a good chance of play in the near future, and there's good drainage at the ground. The showers should clear and break up this morning, but there is rain following. Overcast skies in Brisbane, with showers forecast for the next three days, should suit the quicks. The bouncy Gabba surface will definitely assist legspinner Stuart MacGill.
