Looks quite bad, there is a steady stream of clouds coming from the North-East from the oceans. P.S - So, in Queensland, there is a Texas, Inglewood and even a place called Logan ( which is also a town in Utah):D

If I head north from there, I'm on the Gold Coast. Another hour north is Brisbane and the Gabba - so called because it's in a suburb called Woolloongabba.

Why would they leave out Malinga for Maharoof! Especially when cricinfo says this for the pitch: Australia were sent in on pitch with green tinges. I'm pretty sure they will regret making this mistake

They didn't know who would win the toss. Generally, the Gabba wicket becomes very good for batting as early as the first afternoon. As Malinga is something of a loose cannon, he could've been a liability, especially if SL batted first.
