hhunaeh Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 so if tomoroow some Muslim guy hit other religion people and headline says Mauslims strarted communal clashes you are ok wit that right? If the qualification of being muslim or hindu is not incidental to the article i see nothing wrong in reporting facts as they are.
FischerTal Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 The reporting doesn't flare up riots. It is the communal lynching by HRS, deflection and whitewashing by your ilk, lack of police presence and will, and acts like taking out a public procession of the dead victims like moditards did in gujarat that flares up riots. Hypocrisy by me huh? You continuously attack me by saying i have an agenda, call me a libtard but cry about it when i rightfully return the favor and call you out. Libtards again peddling same old lies about the body procession in godhra, which was refuted by the sit, but I don't expect your ilk to be able to comprehend the facts that an investigating team found and continue with the conspiracy theories to suit your agenda. Again, who is whitewashing? Everyone acknowledges HRS as a right-wing extremist group whose leaders should be sent to jail because they are a communal group who killed an innocent citizen. My issue is with the wrong headline. Is that clear enough for you? It is hypocritical that you approve of such a headline in this case but not in the case of godhra where your ilk were crying about how media should not report about the violence in order to preserve communal harmony. Is that simple for you to understand or do you need ESL classes? Association of a poster with a right-wing extremist group without any proof is calling one out? The delusions are grandeur, I must say.

You are still making assumptions on what headlines i find approvable and what i do not, ignoring the very obvious posts i have made about the matter in this thread and using it call me a hypocrite. Do you need ESL classes by any chance? Again, why is the headline wrong? The person was killed because he was a muslim. Him being a muslim is not incidental to this story. That's one of the main points in this article. That's why the headline needed to use the qualification "muslim". The headline needs to reflect the article and i suppose you agree the motive of the lynching shouldn't be hidden.

bulbul Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 If the qualification of being muslim or hindu is not incidental to the article i see nothing wrong in reporting facts as they are. But when terror strikes happen headlines doesnt say Muslim fanatics or Muslim terrorists killed people? Dont you think headlines should say Muslim terror attacks instesad of 26/11 during anniversary of that day? Dont you think headlines should say Myslim youth terror group when mentioning SIMI?
surajmal Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 shahid siddiqui @shahid_siddiqui Cong govt in Maharashtra trying to cover up d hate crime in Pune. It is alleged Cong created Hindu Rashtra Manch to fight Shiv Sena
bulbul Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Togadia Sriram sene also get funds from Con party to create ruckus in Mangalore.. Except RSS , every other organizations using Hindu name are not really for Hindu benefits, they bring more muck on Hindu community.
Mariyam Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If the Hindu techie was killed by a ravaging Muslim mob' date=' the title would still read Infosys techie.[/quote'] This is pure conjecture. Is your assertion based on any such headline from the past? Would you care to shae any such link?

Most of the Muslim organizations, legal and illegal, just use 'Muslim' in their title. They bring no benefits to the impoverished millions of Muslims in India. Just add more muck on the Muslim community. We ain't that different after all. :winky:

If the attackers claim to represent Islam and/ or Muslims the headlines should read Islamic terrorists, no matter how misguided or unrepresentative the attackers are. And to be honest, most news articles do mention the motives and religious inclinations of the aggressors.

I know that , only because other poster said it's fine to associate religion in headlines i just wanted to know whether he is ok with all scenario's.
