Didn't HRS kill a random guy for looking like a muslim? Shouldn't the article convey the motivation of the murderers? He was killed because he was a muslim and looked like one. In the first report, nobody knows why he died. If he had been killed by muslim groups for looking like a hindu and the article had used "infosys" techie to hide the reasoning, i would agree you had a case.

one more thing I have an issue is , MSM calling only hindu relegious groups as right wing.. none of the others are labelled so

I subscribe Indian Express in Pune and I read both of these news items first time on respective mornings in print edition of the newspaper. I must say that Indian Express is absolutely spot on in this reporting these incidents. First news about Infosys Techie, no clue was found that why that person was killed. Even they could have done without using Infosys. But they may have used as his being doing decent enough in terms of earning might have had something to do with that. In second news, the fact that person was killed by Hindu Rashtra Sena members, in retaliation of some alleged posts on facebook and for belonging to Muslim community. Headline captured all these facts very precisely and adequately. Nothing wrong in those headlines. If anything is wrong, it is with the persons who find these obvious headlines wrong.

the right headline would have been "pune techie killed by right-wing extremist group". of course, raghav and co see nothing wrong with this headline. it fits their agenda

That would have been a responsible reporting not to fuel fire .

HRS kills a guy for looking like a muslim, so deflect the issue by turning the blame on to sickular media, try to hide the motivation of the killers by telling what the media should and should not report, try to explain away the killing by saying this how things are in india, conveniently forget it is the targeted lynching that is communal and the article is just reporting the facts, but you know what, it is raghav and co who have an agenda :hatsoff: Yes please blame the media when someone is killed for being a hindu and the media tries to hide it but not in this case.

The problem with this kind of reporting is it will cause more riots. They have said one community killed a member of another.

The targeted nature of the lynching and people ignoring it will cause more riots and not an article.
