Indian slip fielding

Kohli dropped Robson at leg slip yesterday Vijay drops Anderson both of these players techniques are totally incorrect. They are supposed to be on their toes and have knees slightly bent with weight slightly forward. Instead they have their weight planted on the back foot and standing up straight. How do you expect to get down for a slip catch? Even Matthew Hayden went up to Kohli and told him what he's doing wrong and how to improve- but seems to have no effect. Kohli has dropped so many slip catches since being in the test team its unreal. This is a fundamental aspect of test cricket and yet we are so lacking in this department.

Vijay dropped one too?usual suspects him and Kohli :wall:
Yeah just today dropped Anderson He didn't bend down enough when the ball was being bowled and so he reacted late

Yeah
114.6 Mohammed Shami to Anderson, 1 run, dropped, a short ball outside off this time, Anderson fences at it and it flies towards gully, it was a low chance but carried to Vijay. The run is taken so Anderson keeps the strike

Not forget Dhoni dropped a catch too. No wonder we lose so many matches!

Mohammed Shami to Anderson, no run, was that a chance! Dhoni has to dive full length to his right to take this deflection on the leg side, he gets his both hands on it, but fluffs it like it's some burning ember.. It looks like it came off the thigh

So two dropped catches in the innings..was wondering how did we not miss any chances. The tally will soon reach 50 dropped chances in last 15 tests (starting from England tests at home in 2012)
