G_B_ Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I think this pitch will stay together for the duration of the 5 days. I doubt it will detoriate much. However I think its a better to target the English with "mystery" spinner. India's best bet is to bat first and put scoreboard pressure on England

Probably not the best pitch for VJ and Pujara. Thats not to say they cannot score. Even MSD will prefer this one. Bhuvi with the ball, i have my doubts. Not his sort of pitch. Ishant needs to have another big game. Pluntkett for the english is the big worry IMO

Being out Of Form and to take the Pressure of their batmen. But I Feel A Flat Pitch Which Suit us More Than Them Espicially Suit Our Seamer More Than Theirs and Possibly it Suit our Batmen more than theirs too.

By That Logic What if We are Bowling on Day 4 And 5. Genius. You Can keep Speculating IF'S and But Ultimately it is about What suits the Conditions most. That would Mean Ashwin For Binny IMO, Looks the pitch Will assist Spin as it goes On more than it Will Assist Seam and Added Bonus That Ashwin Is More Reliable Batmen.
