If this England side is nothing special, then what about this Indian side? Complete zero! Perhaps, it's because of such idea and over-confidence that opponents are nothing special that we become complacent that even the likes of Ali is getting wickets against us.

Pujara and Kohli are hugely talented. So of our bowlers have great team. However motivation and leadership can make or break teams. This is clearly what is happening. I agree with your overall sentiment but the squad at Old Trafford wasn't "defensive" by any means. Remember EOD, cricket is about scoring runs and taking wickets :--D The former which India forgot to do.
