I think Jadeja is a fine spinner in the subcontinent (often looks very tough to play) and tbf' date=' he was untested outside India. However, I think we see that although competent, he cannot be the best spinner for India to play in non-subcontinental conditions. Ashwin's 4 Tests outside India have not gone too well for him either. Perhaps we need an SOS to Pragyan Ojha who absolutely destroyed county cricket in his brief stint in 2011 (24 wickets at 12.95). I think Ojha was treated unfairly simply because there are better spinners than him within Indian conditions (Jadeja and Ashwin).[/quote'] I don't rate county that high tbh,even Tahir and Chawla have done well there.So not sure about him. As for who should be our spinners,I don't we have anyone who can be sucessful straightaway overseas.Those are rare kinds(like the names express bowling mentioned).Even Kumble and Bhajji did take time IIRC. So we need to be patient.Now who to back and be patient with is a question.I would like Ashwin to be that guy as till he gets better in bowling,he can contribute with the bat and maybe slip fielding too.Ideally he should be our 5th bowler with 4 pacers

His limited spinning ability is offset by the pitches here. Then , his accuracy and fighting spirit will help him succeed. However, outside the subcontinent, spinners who do not put a lot of revolutions on the ball usually have a tough time. Ojha might actually be a better option than both Ashwin and Jaddu. Horses for courses policy regarding a few players is not really that bad.
