Saharanpur - Heroes & Villains Good article, particular liked this point about this was a Muslim riot, not communal riot. That's very true, and really today Muslim riots is the biggest threat in India. Another point about Gaurav Sawant , now that's has clearly exposed the hypocrisy in Indian media. This diagram really summarizes the whole thing on the secular media reporting today.
So, you liked the fact that it was a muslim riots. Great to know that.

So' date=' you liked the fact that it was a muslim riots. Great to know that.[/quote'] Am glad that you did admit that it was a fact of Muslim riots. Also, am not a Muslim fanatic, who enjoys violence. Riots is dangerous and so is the secular media reporting, silence as well.

Riots' date=' Hindu or Muslim or any religion are always a threat. Central govt. Along with state govt. must work towards establishing harmony in the country. No preferential treatment to a particular religion. This is the biggest threat to the modern India.[/quote'] When majority of riots in India have been started by Muslims, we all know clearly who is dangerous. But due to vote-banks and secular silence, that has always gone neglected. The government should work on true secularism which is equality for all, not appeasement to certain communities. And if you know history of Muslim, it is only filled with violence and aggression, so it's not any religion which is the threat but a particular one.

Once people start realizing this' date=' this world will be a better place.[/quote'] The problem is not religion but too much of religion. Hinduism never had fanaticism attached to it. All the communists, atheists, naxals, Maoists are always Hindus. Ever seen a Muslim naxal or a Maoist? Hinduism allows freedom of speech, freedom of expression. That's why despite the so called" Hindu fanaticism" we have so many different ideas flourishing in India. Our parents never taught us to pray every day. Some of us has never been to temples in months. When you are not blinded by religion, you get to see different ideas. Sorry to be picking on Islam, but the fact is it never allows freedom. You are a Muslim first, you have to pray, you have to believe. You have no other choice. Too much of religious beliefs is perfect recipe for disaster. In my book, a good Muslim is the one who doesn't pray 5 times a day and who puts humanity first ahead of his Muslim brotherhood.

Be it Mumbai' date=' Gujarat or muzzafarnagar.[/quote'] I never get this why we Hindus love to believe that Hindus are saint and never takes any part in riots. I mean it's not just fanatics who post here, but barring very few who believe in numbers, almost all hindus believe that Hindus are very tolerant and very peace loving. I am really surprised that they genuinely believe so - the only thing is numbers show otherwise. Almost all riots in India ended in mass killings of Muslims. Muzaffarnagar riots - 62 Killed - 42 Muslims, 20 Hindus. Gujrat Riots - Thousands of Muslims along with few hundreds Hindus. I am not saying that Muslims dont take any part in riots or they are any less guilty of riots or hindus are more guilty. Riots happen only when more than one community participates. But I completely don't get how most of the hindus genuinely believe that they are peace loving community and in riots always muslms kill hindus while all numbers are just opposite. This is widely held belief in hindus that we are always victim and parties like BJP further flame this belief and which results in hindus getting further aggressive. I am sure there would be many people in muslim communities who always believe that they are always victim but since my interaction with Muslims has been much much less than my interaction with hindus, I haven't seen enough of their claims of being peace loving as of Hindus, which is nothing but a fallacy.

Most of the time this phrase is used by Hindu Fanatics only. A common hindu knows that like any other religion there are fanatic elements in hinduism also.

Perhaps you have not read the posts you are responding to. The claim was not about participation, but of initiating the violence of riots. In Gujarat 2002, the violence was started by muslims. Even in the Mumbai riots of 1992-93, the violence was first started by muslims. The mother of all riots, the partition riots were also initiated by muslims (Direct Action). The partition itself was precipitated by muslims.

Hindus don't have anything like" jihad" . Comparing Muslim fanaticism with Hindu fanaticism is like comparing Ak 47 with water cannon. If Nepalese( Hindus) fight each other, do you think thousands of Indians line up infront of Nepal immigration office to fight for them? Lol. When thousands of Tamils killed in Sri Lankan war, why didn't anyone saw them as Hindus and only as Tamils? The numbers you have posted is ridiculous because Hindus are majority in this country and of course they will have upper hand in any riots. If someone kicks you, you will hit back. Its human nature.

If you want numbers then how about the genocide of 1.5 million Armenian Christians by your fellow "religion of peace" members. Muslims. 1.5 million. That is some peace loving. Writing in the late 1890s after a visit to the Ottoman Empire, the British ethnographer William Ramsay described the conditions of Armenian life as follows: "We must, however, go back to an older time, if we want to appreciate what uncontrolled Turkish rule meant, alike to Armenians and to Greeks. It did not mean religious persecution; it meant unutterable contempt ... They were dogs and pigs; and their nature was to be Christians, to be spat upon, if their shadow darkened a Turk, to be outraged, to be the mats on which he wiped the mud from his feet. Conceive the inevitable result of centuries of slavery, of subjection to insult and scorn, centuries in which nothing that belonged to the Armenian, neither his property, his house, his life, his person, nor his family, was sacred or safe from violence – capricious, unprovoked violence – to resist which by violence meant death!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_Genocide

In each incident, there are also other communities who are victims. Not only Muslims are victims, but also there are Hindu victims as well. Just because Hindus are majority, doesn't mean they can be forgotten. Just an example, the 2002 Gujarat riots, there were Hindu victims, but in 12 years, there hasn't been one mention of them nor any single interview of these victims. All of them have completely been neglected. Is that really secularism? Every victims deserves fair and good treatment. But in reality, what happens is in each incident, many needs to play the communal game. With many political parties (the latest addition AAP) only talking about Muslims victims and selling this "victimization". Like Muzaffarnagar riots example, the SP government had a 90 crore package only for Muslim riot victims, totally excluding the Hindu victims. Next, if you want a solution for riots. The first question should always be who started the riots? The answer to this question for most riots is Muslims. Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean that this question becomes irrelevant. We are secular nation but that doesn't mean that Muslims should be given a free run in their violence.

First and foremost - you are NOT any representative of Hindus! Read my lips - YOU ARE NOT A REPRESENTATIVE OF HINDUS!! Stop pretending otherwise. Stop making your claims under the guise of being a fellow Hindu. If you have so much antagony against Hindus as your statements suggest, you should cease to identify yourself with the religion.
Almost all riots in India ended in mass killings of Muslims. Muzaffarnagar riots - 62 Killed - 42 Muslims, 20 Hindus. Gujrat Riots - Thousands of Muslims along with few hundreds Hindus.
You have no idea about the history of the Indian sub-continent and how much genocide has happened. So, stop your tirade against Hindus and learn something about Indian history. Read up on the 1971 genocide in Bangladesh. Read up on the exponential decline of religious minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Read up on some of the other historic events that other posters have pointed out to you. Read up on forced conversions and forced marriages. And then hang your head in shame for making such a distasteful and biased statement.
