Is it a coincidence that all the guys who have tremendous integrity especially SRT,R.D,VVS,Ganguly,Kumble,Srinath even though some of them where still fairly new when this happened, their rise coincided with India's golden period? There's one bit where IS Bindra said he named Sachin as well. He had heard rumours about 3 batsmen getting run out in a game against NZ in Sharjah. Apparently, he, Jadeja and Azhar got RO. So, he said I named Sachin also about being suspect.

My issue with all this is that we would never actually come to know about the reality of what actually happens. Now, whatever said and done, atleast Cronje came out and said that I have done this wrong. Also, with so many rumors going around you would never ever know what's the reality. I'm pretty sure Kapil was completely exposed alongside Azhar after the CBI enquiry. However, Kapil has been a larger-than-life figure in Indian cricket history, greatest all-rounder, WC winning captain etc. Imagine the damage to Indian cricket's reputation if our World Cup hero was exposed as a match fixer and gambler! Indian cricket would have died an instant death, and with it all the IPL revenues and BCCI's income! And as with everything else, there were just too many high-level people involved (it is all a big nexus). There was just too much at stake and the administrators as well as politicians decided to make a call in the interest of keeping the game and Indian cricket's reputation alive, and opted for a cover-up. I can see no other reason why Kapil escaped scot-free. Almost everyone in the tapes seems to talk about him as a match-fixer and generally dodgy character, so it can't be a case of lack of evidence.

They don't have evidence prabhakar was definitely against Kapil.
