And does the award come with an expiry clause for good conduct? It seems there are some awardees who have murder charges against them and of course Azhar has match fixing case against him, yet this is the first time someone demanded the award to be returned. And of course Shah Rukh has one and he got into a brawl in IPL

Also brawl in an IPL is different from Hunting endangered species,In most countries that is a non-bailable arrest.....it is as serious of an offense as Murder,Rape,Tax Evasion etc.

May be a small time brawl or petty crimes can be overlooked,but not just singling out Saif here but anyone with a grave offense such as what Saif was Alleged/convicted for should not get a civilian honor.

But if such a thing would be enforced (which it certainly wouldn't be in India) then it would certainly be used for political vendetta. BTW the Govt. has said that it has no plans to take away the Padma Shree from Saif.

The debate about that MP talking about women's clothes in parliament, was even worse
