If indians lose interest from tests, that just means ICC/BushCCI will push IPL and LOIs around the year and stop others from playing cricket too. T20s gained popularity after India won 2007 T20 cup. However, there was a lot of interest in Indian performance in tests when we started winning overseas. Many were hailed as heroes, news channels were full of this. Nowadays hardly any news channel gives even 2 mins for cricket news, no one care

We've always done well in Tests at home. The attendances have still been low. Our record in Tests at home hasn't helped the attendances a whole lot.
