Play with a straight bat ? That is not raina's m.o. He plays some cross batted shots. He slogs most of the time. Mostly plays airy fairy shots. plays high risk high reward shots . He relies more on power then on timing & placement. I don't know whether he can change his gameplay now.

Remind me again - why is it necessary for a player to perform at Lords in order to be considered as good or great in your books? And don't give me cr@p like heritage and tradition associated with the ground etc.

You could always say that you've prepared well for it, lets see how it goes. And not go around saying you will score because you're technically well equipped.
