skindia Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 They r supporting dhawan, nohit, jaddu, raina but not uv who is matchwinner in icc trophies:-(
Forever Indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Yuvi needs to score big runs in the domestics to have another chance.
sensible-indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Yuvi is finished. Can smash bad deliveries but can't survive the good ones. Get over him for God's sake.
skindia Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 He is big tournament player in odi atleast
skindia Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Down on confidence more than technique
kubrickian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 He didnt play in Champions Trophy. He was a great batsman in ODIs but not good enough anymore. He has been struggling against decent pace and spin off late.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Champions Trophy 2013 - No yuvraj, just (young) performers - we won T20 2014 - We made it to the finals without yuvraj's help, yuvraj COSTS INDIA A T20 WORLD TITLE. Hmmmmmmmm.. i say yuvraj should never play for india AGAIN! He was selfish as well.
kira Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Yuvi is finished. Can smash bad deliveries but can't survive the good ones. Get over him for God's sake. Yuvi is still million times better than Rayudu:hitler:
sensible-indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Yuvi is still million times better than Rayudu:hitler: No he is not. Won't survive the good balls. He is still a better hitter of the ball though.
sensible-indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Champions Trophy 2013 - No yuvraj, just (young) performers - we won T20 2014 - We made it to the finals without yuvraj's help, yuvraj COSTS INDIA A T20 WORLD TITLE. Hmmmmmmmm.. i say yuvraj should never play for india AGAIN! He was selfish as well. Remember when he almost made an easy win against WI stretch to the last 2 balls or so. Crazy. During the WC T20 tournament, I made some posts (in the other forum) about how Yuvi could cost us an important game if he continued batting like that. Must say what happened in the finals was way worse than what I had feared. The signs were there all along. Its just that the Indian management were deluded and thought Yuvi would make a comeback. We paid the price for that. Yuvi is done. Even Sehwag is done and here we have some people asking him to come back.
Marco Polo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Not sure about that but I'm sure India won't win anything with Hackadu in the team. We should be having a better batsman Rayudu....c'mon....
Marco Polo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 He recently made 100 at lords every bowler was bowling 75 mph..
kira Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 No he is not. Won't survive the good balls. He is still a better hitter of the ball though. Everyone is better than rayudu....he is the epitome of mediocrity.....he is like vijay bhardwaj, no talent
sensible-indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Everyone is better than rayudu....he is the epitome of mediocrity.....he is like vijay bhardwaj' date=' no talent[/quote'] Rayudu is mediocre but better than Yuvi of now.
kira Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Rayudu is mediocre but better than Yuvi of now. Below are the stats from the last tournament (IPL) both Yuvi and Rayudu played together, Yuvi is still miles ahead of hackadu http://stats.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2014/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?id=8827;type=tournament
FreakazoiD Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 We just had Gambhir. Now people want UV. What next? Sehwag? :haha:
sensible-indian Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Below are the stats from the last tournament (IPL) both Yuvi and Rayudu played together, Yuvi is still miles ahead of hackadu http://stats.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2014/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?id=8827;type=tournament Dude you are taking one tournament. That too IPL the most unreliable one. We are talking about batsmanship of both RIGHT NOW. In 2010, Rayudu has better stats (avg, SR) than Yuvi in IPL. In 2012 IPL (where Yuvi didn't play due to cancer), Rayudu had an avg and SR that Yuvi never had in any IPL editions. Does that mean Rayudu was better than Yuvi at that time? In 2014, Uthappa has better stats than Kohli in IPL. Does that mean he is better? If you compare Rayudu as a batsman NOW and Yuvi as a batsman NOW, Rayudu wins. He has the ability to survive the good balls and make some score. Yuvi can't. He can smash a few but one good delivery and he will be gone. Rayudu isn't great (or even good enough) but he is better than Yuvi right now.
vvvslaxman Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Rahane/ Rayudu are not long term options. With one slow player Rohit/unreliable player Dhawan India is always going to depend on Dhoni . Earlier we had several players.
