I don't beleive cairns is under any kind of ban from ICC is he on the match fixing issue? A cricketer who had a decent success at the international level being reduced to this-Wow just wow...makes me respect even the likes of Dalmiya,Srini Mama,Powar etc. who atleast took good care of cricketers at all levels despite filling their own coffers. Also $17 an hour to clean bus shelters....firstly kind of surprising to see jobs like that even exist in a country like Newzealand and on top of that $17 nzd that translates to $14 USD which is a high wage for a job like that....I have a relative who works in J.C.Penny retail and she makes a similar wage+benefits of course. As fas as legal fees goes...Aren't there other options when you can't afford to pay the fees any more?

could be just a show to imply that he is still middle class and hence couldnt have taken money to fix games. Even if he is still "poor", he could have spent all the money he got for fixing.
