Jeez I wish they showed other(or at least more frequently) domestic games on TV. We only get to watch IPL tamasha hence average fan only gets to see players here and they make all their conclusions based on 4 overs of this:giggle: Who mentioned Tests ? Stop assuming. For ODIs what should be the criteria? 4 day matches or club level list A

Lord Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 who cares about ipl or clt20,its just for entertainment.i only go by domestic performances and intl performances.my pov is that mohit is not good enough for intl matches(would be glad to be proven wrong),he is too one dimensional and there's nothing special about him,in my view nehra's a much better new ball and death ovr bowler than him. i am not vouching for nehra's comeback into the odi team because he has poor fitness level and a horrible fielder but if mohit,binny get selected in the odi team for the wc,surely nehra is not far behind(although needs to play 50 ovr matches regularly). ideally bhuvi,shami,aaron should be the 3 pace attack,ashwin is an avg odi bowlers,better to go with jadeja and kuldeep I like Aaron too, should be given more chances along with Pandey and Bumrah. Mohit too though deserves a fair chance imo. Hes done better than Aaron so for AFAIK. But both need chances. I guess we can play them v WI. About Nehra, Hes finished imo. We cant judge him by 3yr old performances.Couple that with his fitness and Hes total no no. If at all we need an experienced guy, Zak is much safer option
BlueBee Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 TBH, Nehra is long gone. He's 35. Even if he plays for us, he can only play for 1-2 more years max. We should think past him and give chances to younger bowlers. We've got a promising stable of young bowlers.
