So I wud play varun umesh ahead of nehra. I m assuming bhuvi n shammi are already ahead. I wud consider umesh shammi to be ahead of nehra..bcos they Would field better. As a bowler nehra is as good as Varun n umesh.

I beleive if he gets to bowl against international bowlers at 19...they could spoil his career.. i would want Bumrah to be picked after at least 12 months. Varun Aroon and umesh Yadav are grown up fast bowlers who should be trusted and Groomed very strongly... Shammi is the Lucky One as He is getting all the Support that he wants and possibly deserves.. Bhuvi has proved that he is the Master of Swing and is the Best in INDIA by Miles when it comes to SWING.. possibly followed by Sandeep sharma and Irfan Pathan or few others too.. Ishant seems to be coming back to form- if he comes back he should also be trusted. PankaJ singh is NOT international level pacer. Mohit seems the Trundler with some special SLOW bowling Skills though he is not as good as Dyane bravo in his slow bowling SKills Still Mohit definitely should be playing in ODI and T 20. Now a days the Ptiches are so Batting friendly ( at least in INDIA)that bowlers are turning into Chess players....a common average bowler who just APPLIES HIS MIND better is suceeding more, its kinda CRAZY.. When would faster wickets be prepared in INDIA...Dont they know that Spinning tracks will /cud get them winning only in INDIA and no where else. it is frustrating to see INDIA invincibles in INDIA and practically nothing on foreign pitches.

Nehra's fitness is pathetic. Remember during 03 WC game against pakistan (he was only 23 then) he just dived (rather slept) after the ball went for 4 from Anwar's bat :cantstop: Always liked him as a bowler and still belive can do a better job in death overs than many playing in Indian team currently. But we need to find a place to hide him somewhere on the field.

But we need to find a place to hide him somewhere on the field. Bowling is not the only thing you do on the field. He can do 4 overs in a T20 at intensity, wont be able to do that in ODIs. You need to last 50 overs in the field too.
adi B Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 i like nehra,he still bowls at decent pace and bowls yorker at the death(much superior than other indian bowlers in this respect) but he has got fitness problem and we need to look at the future. but i'd take a nehra anyday over mohit,pishant etc,also provides variety being a left armer. ideally shami,booby,aaron should be the 3 pace attack

Nehra has done well in only 2 games

adi B Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Mohit did much better in IPL and did well vs Dolphins too.plus hes a decent fielder who cares about ipl or clt20,its just for entertainment.i only go by domestic performances and intl performances.my pov is that mohit is not good enough for intl matches(would be glad to be proven wrong),he is too one dimensional and there's nothing special about him,in my view nehra's a much better new ball and death ovr bowler than him. i am not vouching for nehra's comeback into the odi team because he has poor fitness level and a horrible fielder but if mohit,binny get selected in the odi team for the wc,surely nehra is not far behind(although needs to play 50 ovr matches regularly). ideally bhuvi,shami,aaron should be the 3 pace attack,ashwin is an avg odi bowlers,better to go with jadeja and kuldeep

What does that prove and mean in relation to playing for india in odis and tests??? Jeez I wish they showed other(or at least more frequently) domestic games on TV. We only get to watch IPL tamasha hence average fan only gets to see players here and they make all their conclusions based on 4 overs of this:giggle:
