I have finished the book and i must admit that there is something wrong with this fellow. He is just crying all the time. The book is like listening to someone cry for hours and hours cuz his teacher or his classmates dont like him. even by his own admission, most of the staff/players didnt like him. He may have some valid things to say against flower or "the big cheese" (Matt Prior) but to see that basically there is almost no one who likes him and so many people who dislike him, I think there is something wrong with him.

^Yeah maybe he is just bitter - happens when you get shunted out of something that you hold so dear to heart. I am not saying it is the right sort of way to go about dealing with such things but can understand if he wants to just barf everything out - an outlet anything. He could have been a bit more balanced but possibly an indicator how much he misses the sport - doesn't do justice to the entire cricketing establishment though - just one of those things.

He doesnt come across as stable. I know that not everybody can Rahul Dravid but he seems to be expecting different rules all the time. I understand that he was playing a lot of cricket and he wanted to skip some games as he wanted but ECB and Flower had a right to tell him No.

And yet players like Taylor (the little one), Tremlett root for this guy. The ones who dislike him are mostly disliked by the general public; the likes of- Swann, Broad, Anderson, Flower. About Prior, Ponting and Smith backed his claims. I don't think any team out there likes this English side. The book might suck but its not hard to imagine what's been said or written.
