"Attendees at Glenelg's Gliderol Stadium on Monday, accustomed to seeing Indian pacemen who trouble with guile rather than speed, were shocked from that stereotype by the performance of a strongly built right-armer named Varun Aaron." http://www.theage.com.au/sport/cricket/indias-varun-aaron-makes-early-pace-impression-20141124-11sytb.html If India don't pick Aaron and Yadav in the first test they are stupid, and a disgrace, but they have proved the last few years they don't have a clue about test cricket.

The Big question mark is what will be our Bowling ATTACK? How is the Gabba Pitch??? Does it make sense to play one Spinner? if it is 3 pacers then it is difficult to get the right 3 Pacers but frmo my stand point varun Umesh and Ishant are the best three now. if it the best 4 then possibly Bhuvi gets in too... i like shammi but i guess other 4 are ahead at this moment. karan could also be a tuf bowler and can be picked ahead of jaddu n ashwin purely bcos australians dont play leg spin well.

Gabba pitch is now the fastest in Australia still nowhere near Perth but it is going to cause havoc with India's batsmen.
i agree indian batsman will find it tuf but if ISHANT, Varun and Umesh Play then Australians will find it equally tuf too...i will not be surprised if we beat australia too....

Aaron has pace, so does Yadav, but you need to have line and length as well.

Varun aroon is india"s Mitchell Johnson. He is destined to succeed if he is fit and is played in tests. I beleive he will be played in all matches when he is fit. He is the deadliest we have and Johnson is Australia main pace bowler.

First time Indians have ever seen some pace and suddenly they are obsessed with it like the Pakistani fans are. Esp Vishal - he is shouting from the rooftops in each post. Let them achieve something first - they may just get hammered as your bowlers usually do. :hysterical:

:haha: He has not earned the right to be mentioned with Johnson.

My dear Sweetaskandy- we have a fair bit of idea about varun and Umesh and both these guys are genuinely fast...even the australians english and africans are talking big about them...steyn n morkel have been speaking big about varun umesh n ishant... i m not sure u remember varun hit BROAD and broad was lucky to be back from hospital after a few days thanks to the helmet grill protecting him... varun is bloody quick and i wanna that he just remains FIT.. another worry is DHONI does not like keeping when umesh and Varun bowl - i was seeing n hearing the THUD sound that was scaring Dhoni in England. Dhoni as a keeper was not enjoying keeping to varun and Umesh where as Saha has shown no signs of discomfort keeping to varun i guess....

^ They may be quick but let them achieve something first. Neither is a rare quantity, esp Yadav bowls 138-142 typically from what I saw. Aaron is even less proven. Do you remember Greg Thomas? He was quick. He was also crap. It amounted to nothing.

I said typically, as in ave pace. I saw the entire series v us and those were his trend speeds.
He is trying to concentrate more on line and length in ODIs. Thats why he didn't go all out in that series. He effortlessly bowls at 90 mph.

Vanakam, kandy. Why u so angry ? when your trundlers trundled around 120 our boys did 145+ effortlessly both Umesh and Aaron, their effort balls were peaking at 148 and 153 respectively. What are you speaking of ? Umesh troubled you the most, he swings at 142 thats more than most batsmen can handle, when needed he can go upwards of 15 thats fast and cool imo. so stfu :hatsoff:
