Ok give us the names, give us the names of the politicians who said it was someone in India who masterminded the attack. I'm looking forward to who you say, I'm expecting one of the chief ministers or even regional leaders given on how adamant you are in your point. But as has been the case all this thread and in other threads, the Pakistani members have said that they as a nation need to learn from their mistakes, the same way Germany and Japan have learn from theirs. Yet the Indian response isn't one of acceptance, that the vast majority of Pakistani, domestic and foreign want to lead peaceful lives. You have just said it's understand that India has cases of rape, as they have a population of 1.3billion. That there in sums you up, it doesn't matter if the population is 1.3 billion or 1.3 million, rape is not justifiable at all. Rape occurs all over the world and it's a shocking crime that should be punished by either life sentence or the death sentence. You cannot just sit and there and type, oh it's ok for India to have rape problems, we're a big country. Thankfully the vast majority of Indians don't think like you, they are it's a serious crime whatever the population. As for the crimes of the army, what else is there to say other than you have to hope they learn from their past and ensure these war crimes never happened again as history will always remember them. PS. Pakistan is guilty of gang rapes as well, but perhaps even more than rape, honour killings. These are practises that the country needs to wipe out. In the large part, the conditions are improving, Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad and surrounding areas have heightened punishment and caught more suspects. But of course the job isn't done, until there is no more gang rape or honour killings ever committed.

There is one particular story that haunts, a pregnant woman from the Jalandar region, which is where my ancestor originate, were pulled to the ground in front of her 4 yr old son and the Hindu men who did this, stabbed her in the stomach so violently that that she fell to the floor immediately and died without even having the chance to look at her son's face. Her husband had already been killed. You see, the thing is, we can pick out the horrible history of nations, it's very easy to do, but don't forget you don't have to look too far to find some horrible events of your own. This is a minority Indian elite group, constituting the "exclusive club members of aman ki asha" - a few establishment hand-picked peaceniks with deep-rooted Indo-Pakistan business interests (even at the cost of the unity and integrity of the Indian nation); the "legendary Lahore lovers" (for whom Lahore is the mid-point of the universe); the "guided" (should one say misguided?) tourists who swear by the "charm offensive" hosts serving biryani, gosht and kebabs of "exotic Lahori bazaars"; a few retired diplomats, handful of ex-generals and "club class" intellectuals - openly meeting Hafiz Saeed, the alleged mastermind of the Mumbai 26/11 attacks (and following it up with a press conference declaring how "fruitful" the meeting has been). It transpired that the young officer had experienced bullet injuries and long hospitalization and that he did not mind facing the enemy in the battlefield once again. Unfortunately, the true soldier that Sankalp was, he did not "face" the enemy in the battle field. Instead, he had to deal with the religious jihadists, allegedly recruited and trained by the Pakistan government-army-ISI-religious heads/fanatics combine to crush India. The true colours of Pakistan emerges through the utterances of Hafiz Saeed of Jama'at-ud-Da'wah on December 5, 2014: "Pakistan was not created to befriend India or to promote secularism. We created Pakistan for Shariat (Islamic rule). This is our destiny. We will continue supporting... our Muslim brothers... India is our enemy, not friend." What profound honesty and candour of the terror mastermind and hatemonger! In contrast, what a remarkable deaf-dumb and blind policy and lack of understanding and plan of action on the part of the government of India over the years! So much so that it is open knowledge that at least two pro-Pakistan prime ministers of India, wittingly or unwittingly, willingly or unwillingly, destroyed the assets of the nation to counter the threat emanating from our western neighbourhood. A sizeable number of "elite" Indians also appear to suffer from a short memory owing to the fact that no government of India was either capable or competent enough to take sovereign decisions about its core national interests for 25 years (from 1989 to 2014) because of coalition politics in which the chariot of the State had too many horses pulling in different directions, with the chariot driver looking helpless and doing nothing other than maintaining his exalted seat. Consequently, irreparable damage has already been inflicted on the State, as can be seen from the posturings of a universally acknowledged terror-epicentre, Pakistan. In reality, Pakistan, rightly or wrongly, perceives India as a "soft" State, with several sympathizers within the Indian establishment who are ever-ready to serve the interests of the Pakistani terrorists and their handlers rather than serve the cause of their motherland. India needs to realize that there exists a grave potential threat as a majority of Pakistani nationals visualize India as their future place of residence. Since the adage, "seeing is believing", is a realistic way of analysing, this author, on the basis of his first-hand experience, can say that there is a possibility of a two-front demographic assault on India in the near future. And before majority of Indians realize what has hit them, the matter is likely to be over for the present Indian State. The first phase of assault began in 1947 in the form of war, and the second, in 1989, continues as ceaseless invasion. The first was the conventional war, the second is the cross-border, unconventional, remote-controlled guerrilla-attack-cum-suicide warfare of infiltration by religious fanatics and terrorists representing foot soldiers of the Pakistan State-army-ISI. The second assault, which has not yet been perceived as assault by the intellectual, educated and drawing room "revolutionaries" and society-elites of India, is being glibly dubbed as the "bona fide entry" of "helpless, harmless and hospitable" traders, tourists, pilgrims and the Partition- separated relatives and friends from across the border travelling by road and rail. Sorry to say that Indians will regret it one day. If one goes through the statistics of the entry-exit register of people, say by weekly train, at Munabao (Rajasthan), it would transpire that the ratio is 2:1 (two people entering India and one going to Pakistan). Not only that. The Pakistanis entering India tend to overstay and "vanish" from their designated location and position into the Indian hinterland and the usual Indian practice is to cut short their stay in Pakistan. Reportedly, (virtually) all incoming Pakistanis (irrespective of religion) consider India to be " jannat" (heaven) and Pakistan to be "jahannum" (hell). In other words, Pakistan is the "push" and India the "pull" factor, which potentially puts a very big question mark on the very existence of India in its present shape, size and demographic condition. It is thus the interplay of demography on geography resulting in terrorism and war at the cost of India. The average Pakistani birth-rate of 3.07 children per woman still comes as a boon to the likes of Saeed and his Pakistani State-army-ISI brothers in their efforts to spread terror and religion-related attacks on India. The last word is yet to be heard as the decisive assault plan is still in the pipeline. Thanks to the benign Indian establishment of the past.
