Every paper has a leaning and just because it does not align with yours it doesn't mean it is poor in quality. Also, every major newspaper in the world has revenue declines and this isn't because they are left leaning but rather because of the digital age. Correlation =/= causation fallacy and all that. The Times group are the first news traders in the Indian media. They are public about it and yet people will refer and cite it because it aligns with their political leanings. the degree of learning though is the issue. I also mostly disagree with opinion pieces. Not particularly news on their own. I for example follow the Hindu (the newspaper) for sports just as i do the Guardian.

OTOH, the right wing news pieces are full of propaganda and their vile aren't restricted to opinion pieces.

Agree - too much crying and we'd have Smriti Irani soon here. Two wrongs don't make a right. If you lament about left wing bias, you are countering that by right win bias. After some years, kids your age will again cite the last 10 years and the vicious cylce goes on.

TBF (and as much as Swamy is a bigoted fool), his case against IITD is pretty solid IMO. He's already won a null/void of the termination order and is asking for commensurate compensation.
