Kalia_Test Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 link Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire on Thursday again by firing on 13 border outposts in Samba sector, drawing retaliation from the Border Security Force. The violation comes after four Pakistani rangers were on Wednesday killed in BSF's strong retaliation after a jawan of the force lost his life in heavy firing from the other side on a patrol along the International Border in Samba district. "Pakistani rangers resorted to firing on 12 to 13 BoPs along the IB in Samba sector overnight," IG BSF Rakesh Sharma said. "The BSF also retaliated, resulting in exchanges which continued till 6 am hours on Thursday, the IG said. "There was no causality or injury to anyone in the firing," Sharma said. The firing by Pakistan was the third ceasefire violation along the IB in the past three days and seventh in last eight days. In Wednesday’s incident, one BSF jawan was killed and another injured in firing by Pakistan on Regal post in Samba. The BSF had retaliated effectively to the Pakistani firing and four Pakistani rangers were killed (opposite to Regal post) along the IB in the Samba sector, Sharma had said. As Pakistani rangers suffered casualties, they had waved white flags asking the BSF to stop the firing so that they can lift the bodies of its dead men, he had said. Honouring their request, BSF had stopped the firing and allowed them to come to the border line and lift the bodies. As per the data of the ministry of defence on sector-wise violations in 2014, the highest ceasefire violations have been reported from Jammu sector where there have been 347 CFVs, followed by 63 such violations along IB, 53 CFVs in Bhimbher Gali sector and 21 in Gurez sector along LoC. Then Director General of BSF D K Pathak had termed the last year's ceasefire violations as the most heavy firing and shelling since 1971 Indo-Pak war. In 2013, there were 347 ceasefire violations by Pakistan, including 199 along LoC and 148 along IB in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 12 security personnel were killed, according to the figures. Pakistan had violated the ceasefire agreement with India on 114 occasions in 2012, including 93 CFVs along LoC and 21 along IB, in which 9 people including 5 security men and 4 civilians were killed. The corresponding number was 62 in 2011, including 51 along LoC and 11 along IB, in which five security men were martyred, according to the data. In 2010, Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement with India on 44 occasions, in which two Army personnel were killed. There were 28 violations reported in 2009, followed by 77 in 2008, 21 in 2007 and three in 2006, according to the data. ------------------------ This is getting a bit too much nowadays...Hope our brave soldiers give befitting reply...
gattaca Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 That's pakistan way of saying happy new year. But this government is definitely responding better in dealing with these violations.
Kalia_Test Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 Yes....seems like the Pakistan army and government are trying to divert people's attention away from the recent terrorist attacks in Peshawar by using the same old trick of unprovoked firing in LoC. They need to justify the mansions of their army generals and huge defense expenditure I guess... This time they are dealing with Modi and Ajit Doval though...
Guldozer Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I don't believe these news one bit. In Pakistani media it is said that India violates ceasefire again meanwhile Indian media says that Pakistan violates ceasefire again. But the unfortunate thing is too many of you guys are stupid enough to believe the news.
Old guy Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 didn't india media talk about this violation 2-3 days before first time pakistan did ? i am just asking and not calling you out or anything .
Utalk Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Pakistan media reported on new years eve that India forces attacked Pakistani counterparts who went for some sort of formal meeting. God knows who is telling the truth. Sometimes I don't know what to believe.

Many reasons for this. -Vajpayee visited Lahore n talked peace, paki's replied by infiltrating in kargil their soldiers in form of jihadis - later, refused to even take back the dead bodies of their men -has been responsible for infiltration, jihadi terror in kashmir;for decades -given that India doesn't desire for an inch of paki land n its them who want to snatch Indian Kashmir from india, -general country-profile for pakistan (irresponsible thief begger back stabber etc)
Shivaji bhonsle Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Our boys seems to be on the offensive, not defensive after the new government gave free hand to the troops in the border.:two_thumbs_up:

And lets leave the matter of who Kashmir belongs to to Kashmiris, no?
Kalia_Test Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 50-60 terrorists waiting to enter J&K from Pakistan, says BSF; border remains red hot New Delhi:Terming the ceasefire violations by Pakistan as "utter frustration", Inspector General Border Security Force, Jammu frontier Rakesh Sharma said India will launch a strong protest over the firing along the International Border. One BSF soldier has been killed and another injured in the "unprovoked firing" by Pakistan Rangers. "Pakistan has violated the norms on international border. We are going to lodge strong protest against them. They targeted around 15 posts and we responded to the firing. This is a planned execution by the Pakistan army. This is the utter frustration by Pakistan," Sharma said. Sharma said that many terrorists are waiting to sneak into the Indian side in Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan. "There are about 50-60 terrorists at the launch pads on the other side waiting at the international border but we are fully prepared," he said adding that security measures have been intensified on the Indian side to check any untoward incident. ----------------- Hope Indian BSF hunts down the terrorist dogs...has been going on for long...these terrorist ba$tards come over to J&K and pose as some imaginary Kashmiri freedom fighters along with ISI agents... LOL at Pakistani posters generalizing us as stupid...frustration I guess...India is a responsible nation. There is ZERO reason why India would attack first that too on international border ( not even LoC)...It is clear to everyone why Pak is doing it.... Good to see our brave BSF responding aggressively :isalute:
randomGuy Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 And what is the source of all this information. Ab bhi denial mode main ho even after 15 saal of kargil war? I'm saying that media should not be believed as they have been creating problems from many years and you list me more baseless allegations. Facts may be baseless for you since you are a pakistani. earth orbits around sun - is tht also baseless? And lets leave the matter of who Kashmir belongs to to Kashmiris, no? That's already decided. Kashmir belongs to India just like any other part of India. Sooner Pak comes to term with this, the better it is for Pak.

For too long, India had decided to put up with mindless terror. As Jaitley had said, make the cost of any mis-adventure simply unaffordable for Pak. It will be utterly sad tht human life will be lost coz for the most part, paki soldiers also hav families who love them n they are also just following orders from seniors.
mishra Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Pakistan media reported on new years eve that India forces attacked Pakistani counterparts who went for some sort of formal meeting. God knows who is telling the truth. Sometimes I don't know what to believe. :idunno: but Pak media reported low rank Faujis killed while they went for some meeting with Indian Faujis. Since when our Faujis started doing a meeting with Pakistani Faujis? :hmmm:. After Peshawar shootout, I think Pak establishment has finally come up with some sort of policy for do's and dont's for terrorist. Hafeez and Lakhvi acquitted and released, while hanging death row terrorist and massive offensive on Afghan border is no co-incidence. Every time terrorist infiltrate India, Pak army provides some sort of cover. I am sure this is no different.

randomGuy Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 It's pointless arguing with you when you cannot even admit that the media spread lies. Me not interested either. And btw, media obviously spreads lies abt ceasefire violations. But if you look at the larger context of things(which was what I pointed at in my last post), you will understand Pak n its decades long policies are the reason for it. The whole world realizes that, but you being a paki wont understand. And let's leave who Kashmir wants to be with to Kashmiris. You are no one to decide who it belongs to. Theres nothing to discuss. Its a part of India like any other. you can cry all you want. You country will keep suffering till it doesnt mend its ways.
Guldozer Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Media may spread lies but that doesnt mean everything in the media is a lie. But how can you pass judgments on a whole country when you don't even know whether the news is actually true or not.

Do you really think Pakistan has the time to worry about Kashmir at the moment? Do the Pakistani officials not have better things to do, such as try to tackle Taliban? As for Kashmir, it's harsh truth that majority of the Kashmir population either wants to be with Pakistan or independent. In fact my own family belongs to a village near Srinagar.

Do you really think Pakistan has the time to worry about Kashmir at the moment? Do the Pakistani officials not have better things to do, such as try to tackle Taliban? I have no def. answers. Maybe they think they will keep the low intensity warfare with India w/o high cost when India makes the cost high, they start to cry? As for Kashmir, it's harsh truth that majority of the Kashmir population either wants to be with Pakistan or independent. In fact my own family belongs to a village near Srinagar.as far as what I have read from independent sources (bbc etc), very few wanna be with pak. Like <5%. Nearly half wanted to be with India in Jammu ladakh n Kashmir as per a decade old sketchy poll iirc. Anyhow numbers are totally irrelevant, if any individual is not happy living in India, he can apply for any other country's visa n leave india. India's territorial integrity can not be challenged . pak needs to understand this otherwise it will continue to suffer.

As for Kashmir, it's harsh truth that majority of the Kashmir population either wants to be with Pakistan or independent. In fact my own family belongs to a village near Srinagar. Harsh truth is that majority of Kashmir wants the ISI and Pakistani terrorists out and be with India ( including PoK where parties have to sign a bond that they will not oppose Pakistan - try denying it) ...Don't believe media about Indian army atrocities...it is all false propaganda...as you always say "don't believe media" Many of my friends are from Kashmir....they are proud Indians and will give their lives for India...they tell me about how Pakistanis infiltrate and try to mislead people based on religion...they put Pak flags for few mins and take photographs...post on twitter...then remove them and run for life... Taliban is a Pakistan created problem....you can whinge and cry and do whatever...truth is that you created it and it is biting you...there is no need of any media - Indian or otherwise - to prove it.... Kashmir is OURS....we dont give a rat's backside what others think..
