Yes. He is. Dhoni is not a specialist batsmen and at test level' date=' Dhoni wont find a place in any team just as a specialist batsman bar Bangladesh or Zimbabwe.[/quote'] Ok then try him in ODIs .. will be better than Rohit has been over the years I bet.. calling him a joke and discarding him is like discarding VK just because he doesnot have pace.. But then again you have your own opinion .. I have my own. :om:

P.S thread merged title fail didn't keep original title : Kohli Kohli Oye :fail:

Dude, I realize you have something against Kohli or just love Raina so much that you hate all his competitors. Kohli played a great knock in perth before scoring that century on the so called flattest wicket.
dude, he likes Kohli as well...has kohli in his avatar...kohli is starting out in Tests and has done well in the last few outings. B->

Top order batsmen (1-3) like Kohli score centuries where as lower middle order batsmen (5-7) like Raina score fifties. Simple really, the more balls you have to face, the more runs you can make in ODIs. Thus, two very different batting roles. Kohli has already scored more runs than Raina. What has worked in Kohli's favor is that he's got a top order batting spot very early in his career and due to his consistency, he's made that spot his own.

all tamil nadu players are suspect ' date='they play on really flat tracks at Chepauk and pile on huge runs and look completely like fish out of water when the ball starts to do something.[/quote'] The funny thing is that Chepauk produces one of the best test wickets in the country. Before Badri, you had Sriram. A domestic monster. Talks of Sharath also making the team back then. Ramesh had a reasonable test career even though he didn't move his feet. He didn't look clueless like Badri.

Is there a more destructive batsman in the game today than Kohli when set? Kohli when set and when he goes beyond 50 is in a different world altogether. The guy makes the batting so effortless that it seems as if you are watching a video game :hail: I have never seen such dominance by a batsman ever and it doesn't even matter who the bowlers are and what they bowl. This guy is special :hail:
