Then you have Johnson and Harris moaning that the pitches are too flat with conspiracies doing the rounds that the BCCI forced the hand of the ACB

Then you have Johnson and Harris moaning that the pitches are too flat with conspiracies doing the rounds that the BCCI forced the hand of the ACB I wouldn't read to much into conspiracy theory's,, the thing is drop in pitches aren't an exact science ATM, last year they got them wrong and they over compensated this year, fact is Australian football rules the roost on Australian cricket grounds now, the AFL generate a hell of a lot more money than cricket ever could. And what the AFL wants the AFL get, and merri creek soil pitches and Aussie rules footy doesn't mix.

kubrickian Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Looking at the kind of pitches in tests and this practice game, our bowlers will probably concede 400 in every game in tri series and World Cup. Its better to pick 3 spinners with part timers also bowling some overs and batsmen should also get used to chasing huge totals which will not be an easy ask with the big boundaries.
