The Outsider
Ladies and gentlemen, my pleasure to introduce Sohail Tanveer. Bowling off a shortened run up, Tanveer generated lightening pace of 80 kmph today with the old ball and was able to reverse swing it both ways. He operated with a cleverly thought out field and plan where the wicketkeeper was standing up to his thunderbolts and employed a silly mid off as a close catcher. His ability to bowl off the wrong foot was compounded by the fact that he became the first phaasht bowler to operate diagonally an run in between the umpire and stumps. He troubled the selfish Indian batsmen and is reported to have sent shivers down the spine of the Aussies due to tour in a few months. Link to comment

Lurker
Man, there are lots serial-killer-waiting-to-happen in this board... Indeed. Sacry place an Indian website can be at times. The irony is that many Indians, even sane ones, are quick to remind how "Opposition shall show no mercy", probably they need to check some of these threads to see how "merciful" we are! Winning is one thing but there are threads which have a undercurrent of hatred. xxx Link to comment

Ram
It is quite understandable though. For a major part of the 80s and the 90s Pakistan handed India one crushing defeat after another. There is an under-current of frustration and anger amongst Indian fans, old scars that are yet to heal. Now, when we are beginning to assert out superiority, its only natural that some of us get explicitly aggressive in our verbals. Link to comment

You guys weren't here during our Sportsnetwork days, otherwise you'd have realised what was going on. The bitterness and hatred between two sets of supporters would have made most cricket rivalries look like a lovefest. If you are really savvy, you'd have noticed who started this thread, and who starts the Ahahahaha threads. All a part of our "rich" history, folks. Link to comment
