King Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Just to make sure you don't end up infringing copyrighted materials, you are not allowed to copy/paste images, articles from other web sources. It is generally fine to link but not reproduce. Here are some guidelines to follow when posting: https://www.sba.gov/blogs/can-you-use-or-reproduce-work-others-your-website-or-blog Other sources of information: Copyright.gov If you are unsure, don't just copy/paste or ask the author as a basic courtesy. Most won't complain but there are some that take offence.

Usually we're asked to take it down most of the times but there are times some can go to an extent of shutting down the site for the duration the infringement remains. The problem is once the server is down, you can't quit fix it. We then have to negotiate with the webhost and that is quite annoying trust me. As long as someone can prove they are the owners of the article/image, we are bound to remove them.
