I doubt it, this incident must have been around the year 2001-02. I do not think Dhoni would have been playing at National level also at that time. If my friend was playing cool, then it must have been one hell of a prediction. Anyways those were the college days when you trusted your friends more than even your parents. So I will give him the benefit of doubt. PS: He himself was a good cricketer, he always used to show us the Autographed glove of Yashpal Sharma which was gifted to him after his amazing knock in State Level match at Green Park, Kanpur. His father was shot dead in Patna after which he became a big bewda and never played Cricket. I have not been in touch with him from last 3-4 years but this thread made me Nostalgic. Will surely try to reach out to him.
