vvvslaxman Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 He cherry-picked bits from real-news to do social commentary. It would appeal to a liberal-minded audience. But it is all good fun..It is not real news, republicans took him too seriously as it seemed like he was targetting them. I wouldn't go to ComedyCentral DS to get real news. He filled the liberal space for a FoxNews equivalent in having propagandic view of news. All news source cherry pick. But he did the most entertaining way. Not like he did not bring Obama into question on several issues. He infact brought the entire USA administration into question several times over the issues like War. MSNBC - liberals, FOX - conservatives. But MSNBC had conservative host in the morning show. Also they did not go overboard like FOX does with their scare mongering tactics. He constantly picked apart the FOX news's contradictions and hyopcricy which definitely will appeal to liberals. Most of the news you can get on the internet. So watching the same repeat "analysis" from CNN. MSNBC. FOX is too boring these days. Daily show is a good source for all besides what you read on the internet.
maniac Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Really enjoyed his show....much better than Colbert whose humor I really never got(yeah yeah I get it his character was a satire on your stereotypical conservative) how he was so hilarious.
zep1706 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 One of my favorite people on TV. Will miss his show. I am interested to see what he does next.
