Reg SF I would rather face NZ and hope RSA/Lanka can knock out Oz. No way our team is gonna give a fight to OZ.

Doesnt matter.Stupid ICC have fixed venues for following teams in QF in pool A irrespective of where they finish.So basically pool B dont have any control over where they play. Aus-Adelaide NZ-Eden Park, NZ Eng-MCG SL-SCG So what this mean is , if India finish 4th and meet Aus-1st in pool, it will be still in Adelaide.I can understand fixing venues for Aus and NZ, but why for SL and Eng. This is crazy.Why cant England play at SCG and Lanka at MCG.

It isn't a bad strategy by any stretch of imagination... Helps boost ticket sales by pre-deciding where the hosts play... :two_thumbs_up: to ICC for that.

It is imperative that we finish first in our group. There is a possibility that Australia can finish third if Sri Lanka end up beating one of NZ/AUS. If we end up at second position, there's a chance we will have to face Aus in Aus for the quarters We can't afford to lose even 1 game to be assured of the first place. Though difficult, SA look set to recovering their run rate..

Don't think SA can surpass that unless they manage a massive win over Pakistan and we lose badly against WI. Also AUS look likely to finish second. So we will be facing AUS in the semis if we mange to get through the quarters. However, if Sri Lanka beat AUS, we could face England in quarters and Sri Lanka/WI in semis. Looks to be the ideal case for us. :--D
