The 92 team only really had one player of genuine quality and made up the rest with good strategy and the dibbly dobblies. Australia is probably the most overrated team at this world cup. Not really. They have been beating the crap out of weak Asian bowling recently.

Asian bowling including Pakistan is absolutely rubbish now. NZ could not win a single match in Bang an year ago. They were thrashed by WI away from home. They narrowly won against Pakistan in UAE. Got whitewashed in Srilanka.

Australia is probably underrated by the guys putting New Zealand above it. They have easily the best team on paper, and haven't lost a match in months.

NZ generally punch above their weights in WC but manage to choke some where. They will not get past SF. disagree.this nzl side is superior to that 92 nzl team at home.the bowling attack is far superior with all bases covered and batting is damn deep

They were batting just like their regular self and the run rate was around 5.8.

On paper they only have a couple of quality batsmen, 2 good bowlers and no spinner. They'll get destroyed during the middle overs by good teams.

Scarves Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 They are overrated in terms of the hype and the teams that they beat but they are a really good side nonetheless. They got crushed by SA when SA came over and they haven't played Australia in an ODI in a long time.
