diga Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Is this company any good?Zyxel? yep.. it has a brcm chipset . you can buy any ADSL2+ modem from the market, but would suggest you to buy a newer one which works for VDSL2. Their availability in India is limited though. Sagemcom/BT Homehub5 are some of the best in class

What do you think about them? http://www.flipkart.com/router/compare?ids=RTRDFFYG3HZJRTYV,RTRDGGQ754BDWH7U,RTRE2V3Y6FWVHDW5,RTRDHYYVXHYG93NF
diga Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 TP Link has 5dbi antenna Netgear 2dbi Will that make a difference? that comparision says 2dBi each for Netgear & 5dBi for TP-Link.. it should help to have higher power for extended reach. Also i found a Asus and a Zyxel modem router as well. What do you think about them? http://www.flipkart.com/router/compare?ids=RTRDFFYG3HZJRTYV,RTRDGGQ754BDWH7U,RTRE2V3Y6FWVHDW5,RTRDHYYVXHYG93NF A modem + router combo is a package of chipset/configuration software(like NAT,Firewall)/components on the PCB.. so one has to look at all those before going ahead to buy. I have never used Asus modem, but Zyxel should be good
