Eng's upcoming Asian challenge

Interesting, Eng plays the rest of its group games vs. Asian teams. Let's look at the fixtures: Group a) Mar 1 vs. SL at Wellington b) Mar 9 vs BD at Adelaide c) Mar 15 vs AFG at SCG Possible KO fixtures vs. Asian Teams d) QF vs. Ind at MCG (Eng could finish 3rd or 4th in pool A, while Ind could finish 1st or 2nd in pool B) e) SF vs. Pak, who might knock out its WC's fav opponent NZ in QF :dontknow: (NZ could finish in top 2 in pool A, while Pak could finish 3rd or 4th in pool B; or SL if both Eng and SL win their QF and the winners of those QF are scheduled to play SF) So on one hand, Eng will get used to playing vs. Asian teams by the time it reaches KOs and therefore will be better prepared to take on Asian teams. On the other, Asian teams could spoil Eng's party as most of the venues where it plays favor Asian type of cricket as well Considering the upcoming Asian challenge, how far Eng could go? .... And in the spirit of these kind of threads, a poll is coming up PS I got the poll close date wrong. The poll was suppose to close on Mar 1st when Eng plays SL. Would appreciate it, if someone could make the correction (if possible) :icflove:
