Nothing's gonna happen without India's stamp of approval. But Eng and Australia in big 3 were able to bring in changes of using 2 new ball in ODI thereby negating reverse swing and spin,along with fuelding restrictions. India opposed but could not do anything and eventually change happened. Because Eng and Aus were together. Big 3 is a curse, I tell you, which reduces power of India.

BCCI is a part of the "Big 3" and anyway, ECB isn't going to get much support for this nonsensical proposal.

They want to reduce the time over which tests are played so that they can introduce their T20 league.

Just as the ECB pet child test championship was dumped.No one will agree to 4day tests or 40 over ODIS as that will reduce the revenue

They started ODI cricket but once other teams became far better than them they started whining on how middle overs made odis boring and started T20s. When IPL took over the T20s they started whining on how IPL is destroying the traditional test cricket. When they do it, it is fine and good for the game but when others do the same thing but far better than them it is termed as damaging the sport. If 4 day test is runaway success in India I can guarantee these morons will come and whine how BCCI is destroying the cricket. It's a sad thing that they are still living in past and haven't gotten over their colonial hangover. As long as they are at the centre stage of things, everything is fair. I never remember Kerry Packer series receiving same criticism as IPL. The same attitude they have with football. Do you know why England doesn't care about winning Fifa World Cup? Because according to them the 'real football' is EPL and they have effectively brainwashed football fans from every continent in believing it.

Innings will be 50 overs instead of full innings First innings same as old format of A TEAM first innings same as old format of B TEAM 2nd. Innings 50 overs for both A and B team respectively BCCI denied Tendulkars idea coz they want more money from ticket collection for test matches in India,BCCI MORE RICH than any nation. I strongly believed Tendulkars concern of people loosing interest for test matches and with something new people still can remember test cricket forever. Yet on this days we seen more ODI everywhere, not bad, who knows may be after 10 years They start 10 overs game , I heard next WC 2019 will be 40/40 overs game. Do the toss and go home ...........

Exactly.Thats the point.I think changing to two new ball was not even brought to all the 8 full members for vote. Aus and Eng can make cricketing decisions and change things systematically good old way like 1950s.
