I'm convinced we'd have won had he been around for that. Nevertheless David Miller nearly took us to a difficult target of 160+ on a typically sluggish Cardiff pitch. Don't understand why we never brought him back as our death bowling is truly abysmal

Not all of his 'bowled' dismissals were even yorkers! The only classic yorker was the one he bowled to southee.... all other dismissals were just perfectly pitched fast deliveries that swung in to a new batter. These aussies and kiwis are lucky to have bowlers like boult and starc.... :hatsoff: to starc for his pace, control, and swing.

Sid Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 This guy is single handedly carrying whole Australian bowling attack.Such precision with those yorkers.Had this guy played in that run fest series of 2013,I am convinced he would have won Aus that series as well.Man of the tournament for me so far and I wont be surprised if he eventually wins it as well.

putrevus Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I don't think any other team has such loaded pace options, Pattinson, Harris, Siddle would be first eleven for many teams. This has become like 1980s WI to think Starc is not even playing in regular eleven is all versions shows how loaded Aussies are in bowling, it is almost unfair to other teams.
