Sachin=GOD Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 No Separate Queues for Business or Executive Class At Delhi Airport, Says Aviation Ministry In what it calls an attempt to "streamline the screening of passengers" at the Delhi airport, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has ordered that there will be no separate queues for business or executive class passengers for security checks. http://www.ndtv.com/delhi-news/no-separate-queues-for-business-or-executive-class-says-centre-air-india-upset-746056 They do realize that Business Class passengers pay a lot more than economy class passengers BECAUSE they want all these facilities?
zubinpepsi Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 ^^ dont think there is any separate queue in any intl airport for the different classes at the security check.. only while checkin -in and boarding the plane.. there is a separate queue...
Crookbond Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 There is a separate queue for immigration as well as security checks at Delhi T3.
dial_100 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Basically everyone is equal at that point. Its a fair thing. It is like that everywhere.
Aaku Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 When was there ever :dontknow: reminds me of the backward chennai airport, where the 'ladies frisking area' was in a kona, and the lady was taking manual record pen se register pe ek-ek ka boarding pass leke :omg:
Brainfade Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 No Separate Queues for Business or Executive Class At Delhi Airport' date= Says Aviation Ministry http://www.ndtv.com/delhi-news/no-separate-queues-for-business-or-executive-class-says-centre-air-india-upset-746056 They do realize that Business Class passengers pay a lot more than economy class passengers BECAUSE they want all these facilities? Huh? Check-in at the airline counter? Yes. Boarding privileges? Yes. Great seats and service? Yes. Security check? Get the hell behind me in line.
coffee_rules Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 These passengers pay extra to the Airliner. Unless Airliner pays up the government for these seats, they can have separate lines. If not, why should they?
RedFever Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 ^^ dont think there is any separate queue in any intl airport for the different classes at the security check.. only while checkin -in and boarding the plane.. there is a separate queue... I think there is a separate queue for Business & firstclass for security check-in at-least in US.

If the Govt takes away those then why would people pay extra...
Desi Cartman Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I think there is a separate queue for Business & firstclass for security check-in at-least in US. There is a priority queue in the US but thats to check your ID/passport as that is managed by private security. After that you stand in the same line with all others to get yourself and bag scanned. Same thing when it comes to immigration, everybody stands in the same line (depending on citizenship of course). There is only one thing that I dislike about this business\economy thing and thats the curtains. Its ok that people in Business Class pay more and have more toilets per person and they get better food, seats etc but I have never understood the purpose of the curtain except the class divide.
cricketjoshila Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 They should have separate queues for non Indians atleast.
achilles Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Nothing comes before security. Cry babies should remember how they are treated at airports abroad.
