Dhoni's English Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 A wet and mild 13degrees celsius in Manchester. We just don't get the cold, harsh and snowy winters anymore here. Even when I was at school I can always remember very deep snowfalls and long hard continuous freezing days and nights. But going dark at 3.30pm definitely not FTW.

Dhoni's English Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 being a native' date=' can u give stats of a TOTALLY rain free test match at old traf :D[/quote'] Not many put it that way and hence the reason why Lancashire have not the County Championship 'outright' since 1934:hysterical::hysterical: Soo soooo close last season. Lancs were ahead on points going to the final game of the season, which was Surrey at The Oval and here are the match stats.:broken_heart: Surrey won the toss and made 427/9 dec. Ramps 196 Lancs 234 AO. VVS Laxman 53, S.Law 45, D.Cork 46. Surrey 2nd inns. 295/5 dec. Ramps 130 N O. Lancs 2nd inns. 464 AO. VVS Laxman 100, S.Law 79, D.Cork, 47. What a gallant last day run chase it was. But the 74 yrs. of suffering for Lancashire CC goes on and on. :(
