What about accepting that Aus were too good..
Well said mate, thats a winners attitude, a losers attitude is to make excusses when you were well beat by a better team.

I dont agree' date=' i actually think we took the wrong option, i think we would have got you either way tonight, you guys have to give a bit of credit to us.[/quote'] There are some odd losers everywhere.

I dont agree' date=' i actually think we took the wrong option, i think we would have got you either way tonight, you guys have to give a bit of credit to us.[/quote'] This may be true, but if we would have batted first we may have been competitive and posted 280+ and not folded for 230+.

What india missed was the little luck that has been favoring us through out the tournament. 1. Winning toss would have helped, but not enough to beat the Aussies by itself 2. After Warner was out, getting one more wicked in next 2 overs would have changed the game. 3. Why stop at toss, a lot of "IFS" were needed. If the inside edge from Smith had hit the stumps. If Jadeja's LBW shout was half an inch inside the line. If the runout had happened. Bottom line - India punched above its weight through out the tournament due to these small things going our way. Overall, Australia was far superior today. But please - loose to NZL :)

Cant help thinking toss made a big difference If we had batted first, even if we had 260-270 on board, there would have been pressure on Aussie batsmen. There is always help for seamers under lights in Australia and scoreboard pressure would have helped our bowlers. Dhoniconda would have done his thing if we batted first.
