Starc Bowling Bouncers to Yadav

Shame on Starc for bowling bouncers to tail enders. What exactly is the point of it? Tail enders are not skilled enough to negotiate bouncers. As a result Yadav got hurt and even bleeded. Then the Aussies pretended to care only for Starc to comes back and bowl a bouncer again. That's against the spirit of the game. Starc also kept sledging Wahab Riaz while bowling to him. He must think bullying and bowling out tail enders is some kind of achievement. Starc can thank his stars that he never faced Wahab's bowling later. Looking at how clueless Watson was against Wahab's bouncers, Starc would've ended up bleeding. What a douche.

I think all of you are idiots. Firstly the bouncer is a completely legitimate delivery. Secondly the bouncer is an effective method of getting tailenders out as they often either go for it or fend the ball off. Thirdly it is a good setup ball as it was in this case. It pushes players back and then the bowler can pitch up. Nothing wrong with Starc or Aus with this approach. If Yadav can't hack it, maybe cricket isn't for him.

If the number 11 can't play bouncers, cricket isn't for him?:hysterical: Raina can't play bouncers and he's a successful batsman. And you are justifying bodyline bouncers to number 11? Maybe you've never heard of this "code". You don't bowl bouncers to tail enders. Yadav was going to get out on straight deliveries.

Let's not be bangali for sachin sake, his job is to take wicket and he can use any tactics he wants. OP must be from Bengal hence same whining germs are mapped in his Dan.

I mist have missed the "you must be nice" card. Lets not mention Yadav bowled a squillion bouncers himself....plus the bouncer set him up for the yorker!

The point here is about intention. I would not mind a bouncer to anybody if India were in with a slightest possible chance of winning the game or if it was the first innings. When you have the best yorker in the game to clean up any tail ender and when the other team has already lost the match, bowling a bouncer to a #11 batsman is no different than Jardine's bodyline cricket. That was also part of the game.

You don't take it easy because someone can't bat well. Learn to play a hook shot!

Why did Australia cry about bodyline? Wasn't it the so called "hard cricket"?

Learn to play a hook shot![/quote'] I am sure Philip Hughes knew how to play the hook shot pretty well, certainly better than a #11. I am all for playing hard cricket and bowling bouncers. But the fact remains that it can hurt a batsman, especially a #11. When the other team has no chance of winning the game and you are bowling 150 kph bouncer to a #11, your intentions are not noble.

What if india required 2 from 2 balls with Yadhav on strike? Is it okay to break his head then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
