Temujin Khaghan Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 fast bowler should be like if you hit me for a four, i will hit your head only then even a 85mph bowler will seem like a 90mph bowler to the batsman yadav bowls at 150kmph, but batsmen play him coolly.
Crookbond Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 As stated above, yorkers can hurt the poor tailender's foot. Not bowling yorkers doesn't mean you can't pick up wickets either, so let's not bowl yorkers as well. The faster a ball, the more chance it has of hurting the tailender. Not bowling fast doesn't mean you can't pick up wickets either, so let's bowl very slowly. There is no point in waiting for the batsman to gift you a wicket if you have methods that can let you get the wicket earlier. Yes of course - more yorkers have hurt people than bouncers in the history of the game. I wonder why there was bodyline - should have been toe line somewhere in the Ashes.
MCGGG Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 For a native English speaker you sure make a lot of errors which are normally made by sub-continental folks. Yup you sure are an Aussie... maybe in a green colored jersey :giggle: Wow!!! What an error, also where I come from its coloured not "colored", pretty sure Coloured is correct for India as well, Colored is American. This IMO is irrefutable proof that you are infact are a Pakistani.
CSK Fan Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Next time we should discuss these things in advance with the Aussies No bouncers to tail-enders. No outside off balls to Kohli. No ball above the knees to Raina. Let Dhoni take the match till last over. Aussies should give our weak team a chance.

Just saying but you wont have an issue with that since you arnt one.

afan Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 with the modern protective gears, I dont think bouncers are as menacing as it was 2 decades ago when these kind of unwritten rules were in vogue.. Bowlers who dont shy away bowling bouncers themselves, should expect to get it back as well..No? Only dont bounce out the poor spinners..Lol

Not sure I blame him though, Thomo was a Malinga on steroids., major steroids, that action is deadly.

MCGGG Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Imagine if the Indian tail ender hit stark for 6, would that be fair? Cricket in Australia is brutal, favours aren't given and they aren't asked, if you cross the White line no matter the situation you give your best and you expect the best in return. It's why we are who we are, and you're indians.
