Gollum Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 she has improved her game this season her major nemesis was wang yihan whom she defeated for the first time(without injury retirement) in all England ...in the final she could not close it out against Carolina marin, an highly annoying and cunning Spaniard who has improved since end of last year Against LXR, this match was close as well..i think she has closed the gap a bit and competing better against the top tier...but still something extra needed to down LXR AND Marin True that. Her cat like yelps must drive opponents crazy. Similar to grunting in WTA. And always complaining about the shuttle to the ref when things don't go her way. But she is the most popular girl in the circuit.
AmreekanDesi Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 unfortunately no one really cares abt badminton. sania mirza is still more famous despite her achievements in her sport not behing half of saina's. unlike tennis, badminton is just not a high profile sport and the best athlethes don't really choose it. this news features barely in any kind of sports papers :/ but good to see. badminton is an Olympic sport so good to see

Asia,Denmark Badminton is a huge huge sport.
