sourab10forever Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I actually mentioned Dan Vettori in a job interview!!!!!!!! :haha: I had developed a cricket simulator game where the batting performance of a batsman is determined by the actual performance of cricketers batting in that position. Vettori actually lifted up the batting average of all #8s. Batting posn vs Average: #8 22.36 #9 16.09 That 22.36 was mainly due to Vettori coming up with 39.5 which is a high batting avg for a #8. The interviewer who was a cricket fan was asking about the logic for my simulator software :--D Hmm...sounds great..can u explain more on how this works?

hhhhdmt Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Along with Sangakkara, he was one of the few active players from my childhood. Will miss watching him so much. Hope he remains involved in cricket in some capacity, either as a commentator/writer or as a coach.
