He was our best test captain in last 2-3 decades But not many will forget the 2007 WC. So he will continue to be underrated

Was best at backing pacers, very under rated in tests. FFS he led us to series victories in Eng and WI(both after a long long time). Also it was under him that we developed into a very good chasing side, he laid special emphasis on improving our chasing record. We won some 17 consecutive victories while chasing under him, before that we were mental midgets.
