Muloghonto Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I don't think all NGOs can be painted with a political brush. There are plenty of NGOs that are not politically affiliated or influenced- obviously an NGO will have an agenda but sometimes the agenda is very good and necessary. IMO, a lot of the climate change related NGOs and Non-profits (NOT Amnesty International) have done a lot of good work over the years in terms of making developing and developed lands more eco-friendly and improving the lives of the inhabitants at the same time.
surajmal Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Gungandeen earning brownie points. I have no problem with professional gungadeens, they are making a living.
surajmal Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Not nice to compare me to a spawn of a highway w-horehouse.
Muloghonto Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Not nice to compare me to a spawn of a highway w-horehouse. comparison is not in terms of parentage, its in terms of how fanatically one-track minded you two are. One talks as if the Mahdi is his unborn son, just waiting to smite all the kaffirs. You talk like a mahadev personally taught you the moves to the tandav dance and you can't wait to strike all who dares to oppose hindu uhreimat formation.

Not all fanaticism are of the same hue or saturation/brightness/gloss etc. But you knew that, it is just your one track mind (or atleast pretense) that is stopping you from turning away from the dark side.

Yoda speak/star wars much ? Nobody said all fanaticism is of the same hue or color. I didn't even imply that your type of fanaticism is the same footing as our beloved Mr.Jihad over there. But I will stand by the comment that your type of fanaticism and what it represents (RSS ideology) is also, detrimental, restrictive, ridiculous and most importantly: assumptive faith based strictures. If mr Jihad's fanaticism is like exposure to gamma radiation, yours is the equivalent of being fed monkey poop dressed as dal. Surely, you knew that too. Or maybe, you don't.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 The Greek government has demanded that Germany pays it back*€279bn (£205bn) in loans Greece was forced to give the Nazi authorities who occupied the country during World War Two. Greece has long demanded reparations from Germany but in a statement on Monday Greece’s deputy finance minister Dmitris Mardas put an exact figure on the amount the country says it is owed for the first time. LOL......let's see what Guardian has to say to that.
G_B_ Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I think what happened is this guys editor told him to write and article about Greece. but he also wants to write something about Modi. So he decided to combine Greece and Modi. Look at the comments section nearly everybody is having a go at him.
G_B_ Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 and Re the British media its all about stereotypes with these people. Not just India. The only thing is that India with its porous system allows these British journalists and documentary makers access. Had China been a democracy then IMO the consequences would have been the same. The BBC's reporting during hurricane Katrina was a disgrace. The biggest weakness for India's projection in the west is our media. These foreign news outlets basically pick just the bad stuff about India from our media outlets ignoring the good stuff. India at the very least needs to heavily tighten up and block all foreign involvement in documentaries. It also needs to form a blacklist of known documentary makers and bar them from travelling.

Obviously one cannot confuse verbose and articulate, considering they are antonyms of each other, not synonyms.

I have seen/heard/read about how far slaves have taken this country, so I'll stick to my new found insights.

Monkey see, monkey do. That, is what incapsulates hinduvta- they admit the stunning successes of Islam in sustaining and propagating itself and have modified their belief systems to incorporate islamic philosophy of similar ilk.

You know zilch about hindutva. I just feel dirty reading about a comparison being propounded with the phantasmagoria of sand people.
Muloghonto Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 You know zilch about hindutva. I just feel dirty reading about a comparison being propounded with the phantasmagoria of sand people. I don't think you are in any position to gauge my knowledge (or lack thereof) of hinduvta. You may feel dirty, but reality is often bitter or have you not heard that before ? hinduvta is to hinduism what sand people's 'phantasmagoria' is to monotheism. You can deny it all you want, but its really easy to see hinduvta for what it really is. The sad thing is, hinduvta proponents will create straw man arguments decrying anti-hinduvtas as anti-indian, despite the fact that there are quite a few anti-hinduvta philosophies from mother india that are far more credible in existential reality.
