Andy Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 I am not sure about Yuvraj Singh's test potentials, he is not the same Yuvraj Singh anymore who used to be on his fluent best in the best of his days. This Yuvraj Singh is very much good for an ODI side with his all round abilities, Not in the TEST side as I see his technical shortcomings outside the offstump. And its there for some time now, I am not convinced.

He seems to contend with scoring 50s etc...Damn where is Pujara. If he was fit, Yuvi would never have been in XI.

Which cave have you been living in for the last 11 years - the guy is a worthless test player and proves it time and again at almost every opportunity he gets.

The worse thing about that is after first innings media, and fans, were celebrating his return with a promising innings that meant a lot to India and him. :hehe: Although to be fair he still averages 5.5 runs more than SRT and has one more wicket. :hehe: Time for Sach Dan to show up :sherlock:

He played gritty knock at Lords.. better than Yuvi's knock.

He is better player than raina who dont know how to handle short pitch deliveries. I know yuvi got out to short pitch delivery, but looked more comfortable than raina. He definitely deserves more chances than raina or any other youngster. One failure and u write him off ? Not fair.
