Dhoni's English
Just bat on and score as many runs as possible. Please don't declare on 600ish this time.:giggle: Link to comment
Cricketics
letz first reach 600.. lol meanwhile runrate is better.. so they would like to bat a bit more if they have wickets left.. Link to comment
Ram
Pakistan was aided by a dead pitch on Kolakata, thats why they drew. IMO, we got the timing of the decl perfect in 1st innings. Link to comment

coffee_rules
Totally agree. With around 680-690, India could have given more time and perhaps a follow on to defeat Pak in Kolkata. Now, here again Kumble is in pressure to declare at tea, I don't know wht. They shd bat a hour after tea and then declare. Link to comment
Bumper
Bat till 1 hour is left for stumps and score 670. Bowl 15 overs at those mugs. Knock one of them down. Link to comment
fineleg
Kumble put lot of pressure (through messenger RP Singh) to dada and ikp to accelerate when our run rate was already quite decent. Otherwise if we batted after tea (which anyway we did) - dada and ikp would have ensured we got 670+ But AK applied a lot of pressure, which is why dada and ikp were trying to hit everything and eventually dada played a cute shot to get bowled, and ak, hs were all getting out in single digits. 670+ was for the taking. But good that ikp atleast got a 100 which he deserved. it was under risk given the way ishant sharma was "batting" :hysterical: Link to comment
