Cricketics Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Glad they fined him but just 10%. I think it's just about perfect punishment which is not too much and not over the top either. They have to draw a line and make sure that the players are respecting the decision of the umpire or in general giving respec to the umpires. Even Karthik should have been fined they other day when he and kohli went to discuss and talk to the umpire that why they were bowling in the rain. Bangalore went on to win the game, and even though it was poor decision by umpire to continue to make Bangalore bowl in the heavy rain, Karthik's reaction to umpires was just crazy. Umpire had already talked to Kohli, the captain, about the situation, but Karthik continued to fight like we do in gully cricket.
