HippoSucks Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 How do you guys know they are scared huh? Like as if you are girl friends of zimbabwe plauers right? Who they tell OMG we are very scared' date=' OMG i saw bin laden yesterday like what. U guys make me laugh while zim players are well even interacting on twitter and social media[/quote'] Considering you aren't the childhood friend of one of the Zimbabwe players either, it all comes down to assumptions. I personally think it is more reasonable to assume that a person will be scared if there was an attempt to murder him by a suicide bomber rather than be happy.

I personally think it is more reasonable to assume that a person will be scared if there was an attempt to murder him by a suicide bomber rather than be happy. Of course there would, I would be scared too. But I'm sure given the hospitality the players have been given, they must be feeling better than they originally though they would have. I mean would Chigumbura have ever imagined 30000 people shouting Elton, Elton, in a game in Asia? Maybe not even in Zimbabwe.

I mean would Chigumbura have ever imagined 30000 people shouting Elton, Elton, in a game in Asia? Maybe not even in Zimbabwe. Crowd support has been brilliant throughout this series (although that is to be expected if the first international series after 6 years is being played). However, while those things have an impact on small issues, I don't think hospitality can negate the fear one has for his own life. No matter how much you're told of the security arrangements, you will still feel very scared if there are suicide bombers out to get you. You would know that there are hundreds of police officers outside, but would still raise the question that what if one terrorist gets through without being notices. The security, hospitality etc all has been brilliant (much better than I had initially expected). But the situation remains that there are a few too many idiots in Pakistan. Until you get rid of them, no team will feel completely safe touring.
Kalia_Test Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 If I was Chigumbura and 30 K people were yelling "Elton, Elton..." in Pakistan, I would be **** scared... p.s This is assuming Zim players were being cheered. No evidence whatsoever from broadcasts...And as per #kalialogic advocated by some, banner by some single digit fans in crowd and paid commentators proves ZILCH as that is supposed to be anyway NOT representative of majority.
Ironhide Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Even the BBC has reported about this suicide bombing: Pakistan will host a third and final one-day cricket match against Zimbabwe on Sunday despite a bomb attack near the venue on Friday, officials say. A policeman was killed and six wounded when the bomber blew himself up during the second game in Lahore. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-32943376
HippoSucks Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Zimbabe players are confident of their security arrangment and have shown no worries' date=' but good to see that if anyone is worried about their safety more than them and want to cancel the tour are some indian fans, great.[/quote'] We all know that the Zimbabwe players are safe. But we don't want other courageous police officers to die for a simple cricket match on a humanitarian basis. Our opinions has nothing to do with nationalistic animosity.
jf1gp_1 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Because some people here have a sense of humanity and sympathize with the Zimbabwe players. How do you expect them to play knowing that in their last match' date= a suicide bomber tried to kill them? It just isn't worth completing the tour risking the lives of these players (I don't think anything will happen to them personally, but them playing in fear isn't worth it) and the police officers. Luckily 4 of the 5 matches are already done. It isn't like they didn't even get to play one match. But this is enough now... Not a single thread or post by you on the over 2200 Indians who have died in the ongoing heat wave but develop a sense of humanity as soon as its about Pak. Lets look inwards before pointing fingers.

jf1gp_1 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Way to connect two completely unrelated issues. Some people are so dense. Better dense than a sadist who is enjoying the fact cricket in pak in unlikely thanks to this incident
Pravda Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Yes, it is a cover up, the while saga by PCB its safe here and presedential level security all are cover up, PCB is in denial mode, need to understand paki land is full of non state actors the term they give to persons .....
NareshK Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Better dense than a sadist who is enjoying the fact cricket in pak in unlikely thanks to this incident That's just your assumption that anyone who questions the security for Zim players and the need for this tour are haters. You sound like another brainwashed, ultra nationalistic Pakistani who has his head firmly buried in the sand. Get over your delusions.
Debutant Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 It was a good decision that Zimbabwe decided to finish the one remaining match. They came to Pakistan just for one reason and that is money. They have already finished 90% of the tour. Why not finish the last match and get what they came for :dontknow: You never know, Pakistan may not give the promised amount if they pull out. Why take chance when you have already done almost everything.
jf1gp_1 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 That's just your assumption that anyone who questions the security for Zim players and the need for this tour are haters. NareshK Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Brilliant' date=' so you defend your sadistic opinions by calling me a paki.[/quote'] I never said you are a Paki. I said you are talking like one of those deluded guys who post here from time to time. In any case, how would I know or why would I care if you are Pakistani or Indian ? You are just another anonymous stranger on the internet.
Pravda Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Security situation in Pakistan has improved but all is not right' date=' terrorist related activities, unfortunately , are still not zero and might never be. But, PCB , claimed they could provide adequate security to the players and spectators and crciket related acitivities could resume in Pakistan. They proved theselve right.[/quote'] Yes they proved right by killing some innocent lives, which could have been avoided, if they were sensible enough to understand the world concerns Innocent lifes would not have been lost, PCB has blood on their hands
